Last month, Google released its fourth and final Developer Preview of the Android O to some Nexus and Pixel devices. Well, I guess the long wait is finally inching to its end as Evan Blass (@evleaks) posted a tweet that Android O’s release date is on 8/21, which apparently could mean August 21.

Despite that, there’s still no official name for the Android O and a lot of people have guessed beforehand that it would be called “Oreo”. Even Android Police’s Managing Editor, David Ruddock, speculated the same sentiment as August 21 is the same day when the solar eclipse would occur and quite honestly, Oreo’s resemblance to the solar eclipse isn’t far from reality.

At this point, all we have to do is wait for August 21.
