Apple iPhone 17 announced

The iPhone 17 has been announced via Apple’s ‘awe dropping’ September keynote event with five colorways and the addition of ProMotion technology for the base model.

Other highlights include its upgraded rear cameras, new Center Stage selfie shooter, and the new A19 chip.

The device has a 6.3-inch that caps up to 120Hz, adjusting based on the user’s screen activity. Protecting the display is Ceramic Shield Glass 2, which offers 3x better scratch resistance.

Powering it is the new A19 chip built on 3nm technology. It has an updated display engine, 6-core CPU, 5-core GPU, and 16-core neural engine.

In addition, this model debuts the new N1 wireless chip, enabling Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and Thread support.

For optics, the iPhone 17 sports a 48MP dual fusion main camera and a 48MP fusion ultra wide at the rear. There’s also the new 18MP Center Stage front camera.

New imaging features include AI framing, landscape selfies, 4K HDR stabilized video, and dual-capture support.

Battery-wise, the phone’s rated for up to 30 hours of video playback. Apple also says that it can get up to 50% power with 20 minutes of charging with their new 40W adapter.

The iPhone 17 Pro is available in black, lavender, mist blue, sage, and white colorways, priced at USD 799 (~PHP 45K).

Pricing and availability details in the Philippines are soon to follow for this developing story. In the US, it’s set to be available on September 19.

Well, the portfolio of scriptwriting, web content, and public relations help too, we suppose. As a homebody, he often spends his time on the streaming platform Twitch or ‘farming’ gaming clips with friends. He is also an avid fan of round glasses and anything relative to blueberries.
