French smartphone brand, Archos, has announced a new smartphone treated with specifications that will surely place it among the top mid-range competitors.
The Archos Diamond 2 Plus sports a full HD 5.5″ IPS display topped with a 2.5D curved glass. It’s powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 octa-core processor with a Mali-T860 MP2 as its GPU. Archos is generous in the memory department with 4GB of RAM paired with a 64GB internal memory. Camera-wise, we have a 20.7-megapixel Sony rear camera plus an 8-megapixel selfie camera with its own flash.
Additional features on the Diamond 2 Plus is no slouch either as it comes with a fingerprint scanner and a USB Type-C port with fast charging. Also, it comes with the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, no skin on top.

The Diamond 2 Plus will be showcased on MWC 2016 and will go sale in May for £199 or roughly Php13,400. With that price tag, it’s definitely the most feature packed smartphone in the range.
