Asus introduces the Pegasus X002, RedMi 1S killer under Php6k

This Xiaomi Redmi 1S killer, which isn’t branded as a ZenFone, a FonePad nor a PadFone, is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek processor, 2GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera which touts an ultra-picture quality mode — it can stitch a number of pictures together to create an ultra-high resolution 30MP photo.

Asus Pegasus X002 specs:

1.5GHz quad-core Mediatek MT6732
2GB RAM
16GB internal storage
expandable via microSD
8-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash and Ultra Picture Quality mode
5-megapixel front camera
Dual-SIM, Dual-Standby
4G TD-LTE/TD- CDMA, 3G
WiFi
Bluetooth
Android 4.4 KitKat with ZenUI
2500mAh battery

The Asus Pegasus X002 will retail in China for CNY799 or roughly Php5,800 when converted to the local currency.

  2. Ayus ahhh tapos ang mura pa :) i hope it arrives next year :D

    • ^^ @ archie

      ha ha ha …
yours is the 1st comment that made me laugh this Christmas

easy lang sir Christmas ngayon di ba?

  3. MT6532? parang eto palang yung cp na may ganyan.kmusta kaya performance?

    • MT6732 po Sir hindi MT6532.

  4. Mediatek nga lang ang processor not like zenfone. On the upside baka di ganun ka bilis mamatay ang battery at mag-init.

  7. Kawawang Zenfone users! Hahahaha. Taz mediatek?! Ah ok. What i like of asus was the intel processor. Camera quality is the downside of most smartphones. Even 8MP or 13MP is still blurry. Despite it is packed with features like stabilization, etc.

    • Oo nga, bakit kawawa? Isip bata lang magcomment? Tsaka sa ibang foreign sites, Only in China lang daw ilalabas ito kaya di pa confirmed kung dadating to sa Pinas.

    • Zenfone 6 is just a 32bit dual core, 3G at mas mahal kesa X002

  8. Will this be available here in the Ph Sir Mark??

  9. And s tingin nyo masmaganda s overall specs? Eto o zenfone??

Carl, the PadFone is the phone that docks into a tablet, and therefore isn’t in the same class as this Pegasus or the Zen. Perhaps you mean the FonePad? Not to worry, I still get confused as well

    • I guess so. Haha. Thanks!

Tsktsk.

    • But I did already :) The issue was just between a PadFone and a FonePad, so I don’t think there’s a need to reword the whole article? Happy Holidays!

    • di ah, for me mas maganda pa din zen5, gorilla glass saka intel processor

  12. Baka hindi i release to sa pinas kasi papatayin nito yung zenfone 5 at zenfone 5 lite.

  13. reasons not to buy:

    non removable batt
    mediatek
    2500 mah by asus :D

    • Bakit mediatek? Kasi cheap sya na chipset but delivers better performance and capabilities :) i’ve been following mtks developement ever since and every release nila empressive ang reaults. Not in anybother chipset :)

  14. does it have gyro, compass and other sensors? meron ang redmi 1s…

    • mas engot ka pala eh!
majority ng smartphone users hindi nag co-compass or nag gyro!

  15. I hope this Pegasus is not a fantasy sa pinas.

And a MT6732 processor? Sounds like a 64-bit soc hence the good image processor mode.

Try to research the product for wider specifications. Bago mag type a kung bakit wala o kung ano man.

  17. San nanaman galing yan 274ppi? 294 and ppi ng 5 inch 720p screen.

  19. Roughly 5K pesos in China. However, by the time taxes (Thanks BIR and Phil. Gov’t.) are applied to this it will be in the same price range as the Zenphone 5 or even more. :(

  20. Kelan po kaya release neto sa PH? UNDER 6K! o_O I WANT YOU! AHAHAHA <3

  21. I don’t think this could break the specs of MEIZU M2 NOTE. The M2 Note has 1.3GHZ Octa-core processor, 13MP rear camera, 3100mAh battery and 5.5″ IGZO display with 403 ppi.
