As Qualcomm announces its newest Snapdragon 855+ chipset, ASUS ROG has revealed that its upcoming ROG Phone 2 will be the first one to sport this chip.
Based on a Weibo post, the ROG Phone II is slated to have a Snapdragon 855+ chipset that comes with a 2.96GHz maximum clock speed which is slightly higher than 2.84GHz. It also sports an Adreno 640 GPU and Qualcomm Hexagon 690 processor.
The ROG Phone II will launch on July 23, 2019. We’ll know more of its specs and features so stay tuned for more updates.
