As Qualcomm announces its newest Snapdragon 855+ chipset, ASUS ROG has revealed that its upcoming ROG Phone 2 will be the first one to sport this chip. Based on a Weibo post, the ROG Phone II is slated to have a Snapdragon 855+ chipset that comes with a 2.96GHz maximum clock speed which is slightly higher than 2.84GHz. The ROG Phone II will launch on July 23, 2019. Apparently, it is the brand’s first ever Snapdragon-powered phone.
