Cherry Mobile Philippines unveils their new series of phones — the Cosmos X, Cosmos X2, Cosmos S and Cosmos Z. The Cherry Mobile Cosmos Series represents their latest and best line-up yet.

For the highlights, all of the phones will be featuring an 18 megapixel camera on the back, quad-core CPUs and 1GB RAM; the X and the X2 will have Super AMOLED displays while the S and the Z will have IPS LCD.

We are the first local brand to bring Super AMOLED and Full HD Technology to the Philippines!

CM will be the first local manufacturer to bring a full HD 1080p smartphone to the market, and it is in the form of the Cosmos Z.

napaka gago nyong lahat…. indi ibig sabihin na pag mataas ang megapixels na yan pinaka maganda na ang kuha..nasa quality pa rin yan ng lens na ginagamit ang nagpapa astig ng kuha nyo… mag 18 megapixel ka tapos almost 18mb then per file pero may 8 megapixels naman sa ibang phone pero excellent naman ang quality ng lens … 8 mpixels na lang mas may kalidad pa ang kuha dahil sa kalidad ng lens na ginagamit..

yah personal experience is still the best pero based on the complaints on CM units,ok lang sana kung isolated cases kaso talagang madami ang nagrereklamo at parepareho ang reklamo kaya sapat na ang experiences ng iba…ung sa iba na naninira i dont think may gagawa nun kasi unang-una marami na talagang nagrereklamo sa cm kaya pagnakisali din sila wala ding effect…kung iPhone ang makakatanggap ng mga reklamo about defects ok pang sabihin na isolated pero kung cm na dindagsa parang album launch,iba na yan #ItsASign

@hahaha — ang mga Pinoy kasi, napakahilig sumakay sa trip ng iba . . nakakita lang ng isang complaints ‘online’ magpapaniwala kaagad at sasali sa ingay, kahit wala naman silang bad experience dahil ni hindi nga sila nakabili, puros 2nd o 3rd hand opinions lang . . . you can really see this trait sa mga rally2x, ask anyone from these rallies, over 70% will have no idea or have very little knowledge about what they’re doing there as seen once on Marc Logan’s segment on TV Patrol . . .

on my PERSONAL experience, me and my GF have been buying CM devices, at the present combined, we had bought 2 Flares(her’s and her niece), 1 Omega HD(mine), 1 Fusion bolt(her’s), 1 Cosmos X(my current) and 1 Cosmos S(her current), we like to keep updated with the latest affordable hardware available, lalo na ako na mahilig maglaro ng mga HD games(gameloft, glu, etc) . . hindi nasira mga lumang phones namin, nung bumili ako ng CM Cosmos X, yung Omega HD ko binigay ko sa kapatid ko na sobrang saya dahil nakapag-upgrade siya from her LG Optimus Black—YES ‘the’ LG Optimus Black, regarded as one of the higher-end phones of LG in 2011, which is now very outdated and runs so slow after being installed with a certain number of apps.

most of the complaints i’ve seen were either due to the user’s lack of knowledge of handling a smartphone or damage due to mistreatment of their phone kasi ang logic ng karamihan “mura” kaya expendable pero pag-nasira magrereklamo . .

Factory defects are normal with ANY brands, that’s why you should thoroughly test the unit you’re going to buy to save headaches on after-sales service . . yung dating Samsung D900 ko noong 2006 21k bili ko dun, nasira kaagad dahil sa defective bluetooth wala pang 1 year tapos nag-depreciate kaagad yung price after 9 months from 21k to 13k tapos ngayon 5k nalang . . .

yung Corby ng kapatid ko last 2009 8 months lang tinagal bago binalik sa shop tapos nag-hintay kami ng 1 month bago na-return samin

kahit anong brand pa yan, ang customer service will always have issues . .

dito sa Bacolod, my GF has had no problems returning her defective Flare sa shop na binilhan namin, and mind you, it wasn’t even an official Cherry Mobile outlet, just a retailer, as well as her Fusion Bolt’s defective charger at another shop . . . one thing i noticed when i’m in Manila, is that anywhere you go, almost ALL the stores at malls have bad customer service because of too much people, i have to wait at near an HOUR just to receive my order of a single Chicken Bucket from KFC at SM MOA, it would only take 5 mins. tops during the worst scenarios when the restaurant’s packed here in Bacolod

pag cherry bibilhin nyo wag yung first release idk lng ngayun pero pag 2nd batch na wala masyado defect at minsan nasa tao yan xD haha almost 2-3 yrs na cherry mobile phones ko di pa na papa SC di kasi kau marunong mag alaga xD

ang cm ko wala pa naman nangyayari ng hang up o namang defects ng application systems. di pende sa mga tao kung ano gusto nila ng brand ng smartphone android

Likas na talaga sa cm ang magbenta ng units na may factory defect kaya desisyon mo kung kaya mong magrisk ng 10k…kung gusto mo tlga ng phone na 10k lng pero kapareho halos ng specs ng gs4,xperiaz,etc. Then go with it(BEWARE!)pero kung gusto mo lng naman ng phone na may decent specs(d man kasingtaas pero ok na) go for branded ones meron namang mga mura na branded like huawei kung d pa rin afford ang mga samsung :-)

Hi sir. I would suggest the international branded phones such as Xperia V (14kphp), Xperia SP(14.4kphp) those two is LTE capable and better than all cosmos. There are others which is a near range on 12kphp that has better quality, service support and better updates. But I prefer you buy an Xperia SP a dual core type os smartphone that beats all those cosmos and it will have a future update of JB 4.3 and a chance to hit Android KLP:) So think about it. Quality or Quantity? :)

Kudos to cherry mobile for the Bright ang galactic launch. Unlike the Starmobile Knight with 3 month hype, kulang sa impact. Until now no stocks pa rin sa local outlet.

Ito ang dabes na rebranded phone(im referring to cosmos z) na nilabas sa philippines,perfect na SANA kaso cm naglabas…kung my|phone naglabas nito walang duda dagsaan tao sa lahat ng kiosks nila…mejo alanganin na rin kasi ang maglabas ng 12k sa isang phone na d cgurado sa quality,unlike other cm phones w/c costs only around 5k ok lang magsugal maliit lng naman ung presyo eh

@cm gago mas tanga ka nangunguna lang ang cm kasi masigasig sila maglabas lagi ng mga bagong models,unlike my|phone na tumatagal ng ilang buwan ang isang model bago mapalitan inutil ka kahit tanong mo pa sa iba kapag pinagkumpara ang magiging resulta(cm cosmos z vs my|phone cosmos z) mas lalong papatok ang myphone kasi hindi na magaalinlangan ang mga tao sa quality ng phone #magsamakayoniabuzalzalparehastangahahaha

Please Cheryy Mobile, instead na mag release kayo ng napakaraming phones and tablets every month, ayusin niyo muna after sales niyo. Ang daming mga horror stories sa Service Center niyo. And sana more quality testing instead na release ng release ng phones na napakaraming defects.

Depends in your area. Here in cagayan de oro, some cherry mobile service centers have less customers. Cherry mobile has better logistics than Starmobile. Di pa nga nagka stocks ng Starmobile KNight.

Smartphone manufacturers, who describe their processors this way, are typically hiding something. It could very well mean a crappy dual or quad-code processor.

1.2 Ghz = MEDIATEK 6589 (286Mhz PowerVr544mp gpu)
1.5 Ghz = MEDIATEK 6589turbo (357Mhz PowerVr544mp gpu)

These SoCs are far from being crappy because they can handle most of PLAY STORE’s gpu-intensive games smoothly

@abuzalzal no offense, pero bonafide ranting noob agad pag nagtanong kung anong klaseng processor. Although I’m 90% na mediatek ang mga processor na ginamit, hindi porke 1.2ghz mtk6589 agad, etc. 1.2ghz is the clock speed and can be tweaked to run faster or slower. the clock speed alone does not identify the processor na ginamit. hindi lang mediatek ang maker ng processor, meron ding qualcomm, rockchip, actions semiconductor, etc. i’m sorry, but i just find it rude to call a person bonafide ranting noob just by inquiring.

Kung may 12k bakit hindi pa xperia SL bilin? Di ba? Branded na talaga, walang duda sa camera quality, at bilis ng processor, alam ko LTE na rin yun. 12990 na lang yun baka mas mababa pa sa greenhills or saint francis.

Nah, rebranded pa din po sila. CM have yet to announce a phone they themselves designed here in the Philippines. Though it would still be manufactured in China so rebranded man or own-design parehas lang quality.

kayo naman nagalit agad. baka confused sya sa RAM at ROM. kung mali sya icorrect nyo na lang ng walang halong pambabastos or ignore na lang. hate comments will just drive people away from this website.

Still mababa yung battery parang Omega HD 2.0 lang camera at chipset lang ang naiba pero Planning to buy one of this Cosmos this comming August para masubukan ^^
