Close call. Spectrum has better specs as it includes Dragontail glass and the processor is only marginally weaker. However Cherry Mobile has a reputation for shoddy build quality and terrible after sales customer service. My friends who have bought MP (eg the 919i have generally been very pleased whereas I have had a number of CM products which have broken within a few months and realistically no chance of getting them repaired.

GPS + GLONASS pala ang CM spectrum. advantage sa akin ito madalas kasi ako mag road trip, parehong quadcore lamang lang nag kunti ang My phone..pero hinde naman ako mahilig mag laro, so ok na sa akin ang CM spectrum with dragon trail glass, pweding kung tangalin ang screen protector pa faded na.

medyo pangit lang talaga ang camera ng myphone rio.. trinay ko icompare yung 5mp cam ko na cm flare sa 8mp ni rio and yet mas lamang ng konte yung flare ko.. medyo foggy kase cam nung rio.. :3 although mas maganda pa din yung processor na mediatek ni mp kesa sa broadcomm ni cm… ang hirap tuloy pumili :3

CM is known for hyping and bloating the specs of its phone, when you hold their units you will notice that it doesn’t really perform what is in the spec sheet. The quality and durability are always in question, Plus their After Sales service is really, really, really bad, I can attest to that because I’ve already been there. What’s the use of having a bloated high specs on your phone if you need to constantly visit their SC for repair?. Until Cherry mobile improve its phones quality and provide a better Service Center for the costumer, Me, my Clan and circle of friends will stay away from them no matter how good the specs of their phone. It will always be a battle between Quality(MP) and Quantity(CM). It’s you choice.

Spectrum has the “old”, outdated look… The Rio looks better. I hope both phones don’t have /will fix issues with transferring of apps to the SD card thing (Rio seems to have issues with it, but hopefully can be addressed by the upcoming software update). The next fight will be the same or better specs for only Php 3,999! Bring down the price, guys! Bring it down!

advise lang ,basa muna ng reviews bago maniwala sa dragontrail glass ng CM spectrum. alam niyo na mahilig maglagay ang CM ng pekeng specs sa phones nila para malamangan yung ibang smartphones. katulad nalang ng IPS daw ng 1st gen CM Flare at Burst. nakalagay sa specs pati na sa mga posters na IPS ang display ng dalawang smartphones na yan, pero yung totoo ay crappy TN TFT lang pala ang screen ng dalawa. FYI lang po ito. kaya ngayun nagdududa na ako sa kga specs ng CM phones. nakakaduda. LOL. buy wisely :)

nahawakan ko na sa personal si Rio. ganda ng build quality, screen pati ang camera. best bang for your buck talaga :)

dragontail glass sabi nila??mas mabuti pang mag screen protector kana lang!kahit dragontail yan for sure mababang quality screen nyan!
My friend bought OMEGA HD 2.0 At syemper dragontail yun diba??binilhan nya ng leather case pero sa kasamaang palad ung leather case pa ang naka gas2 sa screen nya!….base din sa Spec mas maganda din ang Myphone Rio!at sa quality naman mas lamang din ang Myphone..

Satisfied with my Rio.Had a Cherry Mobile phone before but their after sales service is crap. Unreliable service center hotline. 2mos repair ng phone na hindi pa umabot ng isang buong araw ko nagamit nung marepair kuno. Never again kahit gano pa kaganda specs ng phone nila.
