Just recently, Cherry Mobile uploaded a rather intriguing picture of a handset with a tagline “Two BSI Cameras. One Phablet.” Besides the obvious giveaway (TWO.ZERO), the picture doesn’t give us too much info about what we’re dealing here, but we have one possible candidate which might just fit the bill.

If you’re keeping tabs on the latest and greatest smartphone in the local scene, then you might’ve stumbled upon our previous post about the i-Mobile IQ5.1 which is our best bet for now.
Our hunch is based on the limited details portrayed on the leaked image. If you squint a little, you’ll notice that the teased handset sports a 12MP camera at the back which, as the caption suggests, is a Back Side Illuminated (BSI) type.

Also basing on the tagline, the main snapper is paired with another BSI camera which we assume to be mounted at the front and sits in between the earpiece and sensors. Unless of course, it’s also mounted at the back (like the LG Optimus 3D) which is highly unlikely but certainly possible.
However, there’s a slight issue with our hunch. If we’re to believe that this handset is the Blaze 2.0, which we also think that it is, then the IQ5.1’s screen size (5.3-inch) is a bit smaller than what the leaked specs we reported earlier suggests.

Without any concrete proof to back up our guess, we can all just speculate on what Cherry Mobile has in store for us. But whatever the local firm may have up its sleeve, it better be good as Starmobile’s lineup will surely give this handset a good run for its money.
