The Doogee Mix 2, successor to The Doogee Mix which we reviewed here, will continue the trend of having a bezel-less display but this time it’s joining the 18:9 aspect ratio club. It’s also upping its camera game by having not one, but two dual camera setups.

Some parts of the device were left unchanged though as it will still be powered by MediaTek’s Helio P25 octa-core CPU and 6GB RAM. But that isn’t necessarily bad the P25 is still a decent performer. One of the highlights of the device is its screen, the Mix 2 will have a 5.99-inch 1080 x 2160 FHD+ 18:9 aspect ratio screen, a noticeable upgrade from its predecessor’s 5.5-inch Super AMOLED HD screen.

The other notable highlight of the device is its Quad Camera setup. The Mix 2 will have a 16-megapixel + 13-megapixel rear camera setup capable of shooting 4k video and a Dual 8-megapixel front camera setup with a 130° wide angle lens.
In addition to having a fingerprint sensor users will have another option to unlock their device as the Doogee Mix 2 is joining the facial recognition craze by allowing its users to unlock the phone via the front camera.

As for its other specs, the phone will now feature USB Type-C, a revamped 4,060mAh, and Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. Famous leaker Evan Blass also graced the internet with live photos of the device see below.
The device is also rumored to be priced at ~$200 according to Evan Blass’ tweet. For more info about the device, you can head to Doogee’s official website here.
