Google Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro to launch on October 19

Google has announced to hold a Pixel Fall Launch event on October 19, wherein the company is expected to unveil the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

The Pixel 6 series will be the first to sport Google’s custom-built Tensor SoC. These will also be the first smartphones to launch with Android 12. Further, the Pixel 6 Pro model is also getting an additional telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom.

Likely, Google might also reveal the official release date of Android 12 for Pixel devices during the event. The company recently announced that it pushed the latest version of Android to AOSP and said that it would come to Pixel devices in the “next few weeks.”

Information about the pricing and availability of the Pixel 6 series has yet to be announced, so stay tuned.
