  1. is this kirin cpu in the same league as current top cpu of the competition snapdragon 820/821 or is just a mid-range cpu?
relevant information should be added to the tech article to make it more complete…

( i personally considered yugatech as the premier pinoy tech site in the philippines and i want it to grow into a more mature tech site that can match foreign competitions face to face… )

    • I think you should google first whats kind of CPU is kirin, most of theses days all user knows snapdragon.
kirin 950 is the flagship processor of huawei way back 2015.
they make it use the processor in honor 8 to make it cheaper rather than use the latest which is kirin 955

    • It’s actually on par with Snapdragon 810.
Not bad for good looking phone.
I’ll take this rather than the extremely ovepriced Asus Zen 3 Series

  2. Hopefully it would be priced lower than the other huawei 4gb ram phones namely mate8 (31k) and P9 Plus (28k)

  3. i doubt this will be available here, at least legally. matagal na silang hindi nagbebenta ng Honor sub brand dito sa pinas, which is a shame kasi usually lower in price sila than huawei’s P-series while being just the same or in some cases, better.

  4. “Local pricing and availability are yet to be announced.” Ang alam ko america at china lang ang magkakaroon nito. Good specs for the price but I’m expecting this to arrive as grey unit.

  5. Parang nang gaya ata sya sa Samsung ah 12MP but dual megapixel camera.

    • Huawei P9 has dual camera already.
