The HUAWEI nova 14 Lite is now official as the latest member of the nova 14 line. Also touted as the nova 14 Vitality Edition, it features similar specs to the base model with some cost-cutting.

It still has a 6.7-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution and a refresh rate capped at 120Hz. For optics, it has a 50-megapixel main camera with a RYYB sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide, and a 50-megapixel selfie shooter.
The phone packs a 5,500mAh battery with a lowered 66W fast charging rate. For reference, the base nova 14 model supports 100W speeds.
As per usual, Huawei has yet to reveal the device’s chipset. However, reports suggest that it could be powered by the Kirin 8000 which is also used for the nova 14.
The HUAWEI nova 14 Lite ships with HarmonyOS 5.1 and comes in Feather Sand Black, Frost White, and Ice Blue colorways. It’s currently available in China starting at CNY 2,149 (~PHP 17K) with 256GB of storage.
It’s also available for CNY 2,449 (~PHP 20K) with 512GB of storage instead. We’ll update readers should details arrive for its availability in the Philippines.
