Huawei P40 Lite 5G now official

Months after the launch of Huawei’s P40-series flagship smartphones, they’re now releasing its 5G-capable Lite version, the P40 Lite 5G.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G sports a 6.5-inch FHD+ OLED  display, running on Huawei’s Kirin 820 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Located at the back is a quad-rear camera setup consisting of a 64MP primary shooter, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide, 2MP macro, and 2MP depth sensor. A 16MP selfie camera is situated in a punch-hole module at the top left corner of the display.

Out of the box, the device runs on EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 without Google Mobile Services. It’s powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.

The Huawei P40 Lite 5G is now available for preorders in Europe, with its official sale starting on May 29. It’s priced at EUR 400 with a free pair of Freebuds 3.
