Images of the alleged Galaxy Note 8.0 surfaces

Only a week has passed since we first reported the existence of an 8-inch Galaxy Note, but an Italian tech website has already taken a few snaps of the rumoured tablet. Check out the photos after the break.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8

The photos came from Digital Day, a tech publication based in Italy. At this angle, we can see that the Samsung has kept the design philosophy that they’ve used in their recent offerings. Having said this, the tablet looks an over-sized Galaxy Note 2.

Its internals is rumored to consist of a 1.6GHz quad-core processor which is coupled with a 2GB of RAM. The Galaxy Note 8’s display is also believed to pack a 1280×800 resolution which will play host to the skinned version of Android Jelly bean.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is expected to be unveiled in Barcelona in time for the Mobile World Congress. We’re expecting to hear more about this rumored slate as we inch closer to the highly anticipated event.

  1. You know, back in the day, one of the funny things to do was put a boombox on your shoulder and blast away.

I thought that looked silly, but still funny. How funny it would be if this phone I mean tablet can support voice, and put this near your ear :D

    • “How funny it would be if this phone I mean tablet can support voice, and put this near your ear”

You can actually do that with the GSM/3G version of the Galaxy tab 2 7.0 tablet. It has a sim slot and the android skin has phone features.

You know what’s even funnier? People taking pictures in public with their tablets. LMAO

  2. China phone yan, hehe. nauna pa sila maglabas ng picture.

    • kailan kaya ilalabas ang Galaxy Tab 3? mas cheaper siguro!

  3. buttons at front on an android tablet? wtf.. is Samsung they kidding? looks more like a Galaxy SIII XL :/ very lame design..

    • The Galaxy S3 is maybe one of the best ergonomically designed phone. I agree that it may seem awkward and ugly on an 8-inch tablet, but if it feels comfortable to hold then I’m sold.

  4. I like samsung, but seriously? This is one hell of an ugly device…

  5. OMG!!! Design and color look like those of cheap China tablets! You can do better than that, Sammy.

  6. actually this tablet will beat Apple’s iPad mini anytime! hehe…. multi screen, quad/octo cores. 2MB ram!~ BAM!

Though, looks like an XL galaxy s3, I’m digging it! yeah!
