Aside from the Phab2 Pro, there’s also a pair of Phabs announced with toned-down specifications and a cheaper price tag. It’s the Phab 2 and the Phab 2 Plus.

The regular Phab 2 sports a 6.4-inch 720p IPS display with a quad-core MediaTek 8735 processor and 3GB of RAM. Storage is at 32GB that’s expandable via a microSD card. There’s no project Tango here but you’ll get a 13-megapixel rear camera.

The Phab 2 Plus also has a 6.4-inch IPS display although it’s upgraded to a 1080p panel. Processing power also gets a bump to a quad-core MediaTek 8783 but still has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of expandable storage.

There’s a better camera setup for the Phab2 Plus. It’s got dual camera setup for refocusing and some few other tricks, plus laser autofocus. A fingerprint scanner is also present.
The Phab2 and Phab2 Plus will be released this September at a competitive price tag of $199 (~Php 9.2k) and $299 (~Php 13.8k), respectively. It’s going to be a worldwide release, so we’re expecting it to arrive in PH as well.
