LG G4 owners have been reporting an issue for months now about their smartphone failing to boot up over and over again, thus called “boot loop”. LG has recently acknowledged the issue and released a statement, offering to repair the affected smartphones.
According to LG’s statement as received by Android Authority, the booting issue with the LG G4 smartphone “has now been identified as resulting from a loose contact between components.” In other words, the boot loop issue is a hardware problem.
LG advises customers who are experiencing the issues to contact their local carrier where the G4 was purchased or a nearby LG Service Center for repair under full warranty. Customers who purchased their LG G4 from non-carrier retailers should also contact an LG Service Center.
