    HI Kevin, in your first sentence, I think you meant “In VIEW of LG G4’s recent win….”

    When you say “In lieu of..”, it means “Instead of….”, where the sentence substitutes one thing for another (e.g. “In LIEU of flowers, donations to the Red Cross would be appreciated.”)

    On the other hand, “In view of…” means “because of..” or “By reason of…”.
