LG K7i with Mosquito Away technology launches in India

Listen to article

Now, this is quite the interesting launch from LG as they recently unveiled in India a smartphone that can make the mosquitoes go away, or so they claim — The LG K7i.

The phone makes use of Ultra Sound technology using the speaker on its back to, supposedly, repel mosquitoes. Specs-wise, the device is not going to break any grounds as it’s powered by an unnamed 1.4Ghz Quad Core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 2,500mAh battery, and a 5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA Display. For the camera’s it has an 8MP rear shooter and a 5MP front shooter. Although it’s priced relatively cheap at Rs.7990 (about Php6,211.25), then again there are a lot of better phones at this price point.

LG K7i specs:
5-inch 854 x 480 FWVGA On-Cell Display
1.4Ghz QuadCore Processor
2GB RAM
16GB internal storage

8MP rear camera
5MP front camera

2,500mAh battery
145.7 x 74.1 x 8.1 mm

The LG K7i is available in India for Rs.7990 (about Php 6211.25). No word if we’ll ever get it locally.
