Listen to article

Valve has just ‘completely revamped’ its Steam Mobile app and introduced new functionalities giving users a more efficient game management and a more modern experience.

New and improved Steam Mobile app

The new Steam Mobile app shouts rightly of Valve’s design language from its main app on PC, thus familiarity won’t be an issue trying out the app for the first time.

Some of the new functionalities added to the app are remote downloads that enables you to download games directly to your PC using only your phone; and the two-factor authentication for that faster and more secure login.

You may see the new app in action below:

Previously, Steam Mobile is a mere catalog of games with less features, bugs here and there, and outdated design, which led to its 2.9 rating on the Play Store (as of writing).

The improved Steam Mobile is now available for download on Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
