Nokia 2 passes through FCC test, images leak ahead of launch

A new Nokia smartphone with a model number “TA-1029” has recently passed the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) test in the U.S., dubbed as the Nokia 2. Images of the said device have also leaked across the interweb.

In a report by FCC, it is said that the Nokia 2 is certified with:

  • FDD-LTE 2600 (B 7) / 850 (B 5) MHz
  • TD-LTE 2600 (B 38) MHz
  • W-CDMA 1900 (II) / 900 (VIII) MHz
  • GSM 1900/850 MHz

This only shows that the said device will be equipped with an LTE chip.

Nokia 2 rumored specs:
4.5-inch display  HD Display with 1080 x 720 resolution
Snapdragon 210/212 chipset
8GB internal memory
1GB RAM
8MP rear camera
5MP front camera
WLAN
IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (2.4 GHz)
Bluetooth

Pricing for the Nokia 2 is yet to be announced. Moreover, Nokia will be having an event on August 16, which is Nokia 8’s official launch.
