ZTE has launched their flagship gaming phone, REDMAGIC 7, under their nubia gaming line last February. The global version coming to the Philippines is similar in many ways to the original Chinese variant except its charger is capable of fast charging with 120W of power instead of the 65W we get on the global version.
The phone is packing Qualcomm’s most powerful chipset, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 which on paper should be 25% more efficient, 30% faster in graphics, and have 4 times the processor enhancement. And you know what they say, with great power comes great cooling. The REDMAGIC 7 uses nubia’s ICE 8.0 multi-dimensional cooling system which uses both active and passive ways to cool itself such as air cooling, liquid cooling, heat-dissipating materials, and aerospace-grade phase change materials.
The display should also be a key factor when looking at a ta gaming phone and the REDMAGIC 7 does not disappoint. It brings a Full HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 165 Hz. As well, with a 720 Hz Multi-finger touch sampling rate, the REDMAGIC 7 promises it to be as fast as 7.4 ms. It also features upgraded dual shoulder triggers with a 500 Hz touch sampling rate.
