OPPO A5x 5G model announced

The OPPO A5x 5G model has been announced. For reference, its initial variant with 4G was launched just last week.

This model has an LCD with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a 1,000-nit peak brightness. It also features Splash Touch and Glove Touch technology, letting people use the phone with wet, oily, or covered fingers.

Powering this phone is a Dimensity 6300 chipset with 4GB RAM and 128GB of storage. It’ll ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

For optics, it has a 32-megapixel camera at the rear and a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. It packs a 6,000mAh battery with 45W fast charging support as well. Lastly, it has an IP65 rating and a MIL-STD-810H certification.

The OPPO A5x 5G is priced at INR 13,999 (~PHP 9,000), now available in India. It’s available in Midnight Blue and Laser White colorways. Availability in other regions has yet to be announced.
