OPPO is still on full throttle even though the year is about to end as after the official launch of the A75 and A75s they released another device — The A83. It sports a much smaller 5.7-inch display and a lower HD+ resolution, although it does have the same 18:9 aspect ratio as the aforementioned devices.
Under the hood of the A83 are an unnamed 2.5Ghz CPU (Possibly the MediaTek Helio P23), 32GB of Internal storage, Android 7.1 Nougat, 4GB of RAM, and a 3,090mAh battery. As for its camera, it sports an 8MP front shooter and a 13MP rear shooter with LED flash. OPPO also equipped the device with the same AI facial recognition technology that they placed on the A75 and A75s. Noticeably absent though is a home button or a fingerprint scanner. Base on the specs looks like this is the company’s contender in the budget segment of the 18:9 aspect ratio display market.
