realme has just unveiled its newest smartphone, the realme narzo N55, which features its own version of a “Dynamic Island” notch called the Mini Capsule.

The narzo N55’s notch is reminiscent of the Dynamic Island introduced by Apple in its latest iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max devices last year. It looks like the N55’s implementation of the notch design will be similar in that more information about apps, such as battery status, will appear on the Mini Capsule.
However, realme says that the feature will be available via OTA update only, so it won’t come out of the box just yet.
As for the phone itself, the realme narzo N55 will have a 6.72-inch FHD+ display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a MediaTek Helio G88 chipset, and a 5000 mAh battery.

For cameras, the N55 has a dual-rear camera setup composed of a 64MP main and a 64MP AI camera sensor. For selfies, it has an 8MP front-facing camera.
The phone will come in two color options: Prime Black and Prime Blue. So far the phone has only been made available on realme India’s site.
It will be available with either 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage for 10,999 Indian rupees (around Php 7,432.83 as converted) or 6GB + 128GB internal storage for 12,999 Indian rupees (around Php 8,784.06 as converted).
No word yet on an official Philippine price but we’ll keep tabs once we know more.
