REDMAGIC 10S Pro Series unveiled

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro Series has been unveiled. The new line features the REDMAGIC 10S Pro and REDMAGIC 10S Pro+, both equipped with an overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Design-wise, it has a sleek look fitted with aerospace-grade aluminum alloy and a glass back panel. It’s also slim with 8.9mm thickness, complemented by improved ergonomics.

Both devices have a 6.85-inch BOE Q9+ AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Powering them is a Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Edition chipset, an Adreno GPU, and a Red Core R3 Pro gaming chip. The devices are available with up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage as well.

As gaming devices, key features include 520Hz shoulder triggers and dual X-axis linear motors for haptics. The phones also benefit from a comprehensive cooling system with liquid metal technology and a 23,000 RPM centrifugal fan.

Plus, the line also introduces a built-in PC emulator capable of supporting Steam and Epic Games launchers. REDMAGIC says that their new gaming phones are able to deliver smooth frame rates when emulating older AAA games.

For optics, both devices have a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultrawide, and a 2-megapixel macro. There’s also a 16-megapixel camera at the front which benefits from next-gen AI technology to enhance image quality.

The only difference between the two devices is their capacities. The 10S Pro has a 7,050mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Meanwhile, the 10S Pro+ packs a 7,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging.

Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and NFC. The phones will ship with REDMAGIC AI OIS 10.0 based on Android 15. Color options include Obsidian Black and Titanium Silver. There’s also a special Phantom Green edition, which features the REDMAGIC signature lighting accents.

The REDMAGIC 10S Pro starts at CNY 4,999 (~PHP 38K) with 12GB/256GB. Meanwhile, the REDMAGIC 10S Pro+ retails for CNY 5,999 (~PHP 46K) with 16GB/512GB. Both offerings are currently available in China, but we’ll update readers should we get information on global release dates.
