Xiaomi’s sub brand, Redmi has launched the Note 12 Turbo which is an addition to its Note 12 lineup. It showcases greater specifications compared to the rest of the lineup and makes use of the recently announced Snapdragon chip.
The Note 12 Turbo makes use of a 6.67″ 120hz display with FHD+ resolution and 1000 nits of peak brightness. It also has Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support.
It sports 3 camera sensors, with a 64MP main lens with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro sensor. The selfie camera itself is 16MP.
The Note 12 Turbo is governed by the newly announced Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 processor with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 1TB UFS 3.1 storage. The smartphone can also keep itself cool during heavy usage and gaming with its own 3725mm vapor cooling chamber. It runs on MIUI 14 on Android 13, and sports a 5000mAh battery with 67W fast charging. There is also dual 5G, and a nice addition of a headphone jack.
The Note 12 Turbo starts at RMB 1,999 (PHP 15,800) for the 8GB + 256GB variant, RMB 2,099 (PHP 16,600) for the 12GB + 256GB, RMB 2,299 (PHP 18,200) for the 12GB + 512GB, and RMB 2,599 (PHP 20,500) for the top of the range 16GB + 1TB configuration. The smartphone will come in 3 colors, Carbon Black, Xinghai Blue, and Ice Feather White. Hopefully we see this smartphone land in our shores soon.
