Samsung Galaxy A06 5G now available in PH: price starts at P7,990

Samsung has unveiled its latest budget-friendly phone, the Galaxy A06 5G. It offers 5G connectivity, solid performance, and enhanced security features, all within a sleek design and at an affordable price.

The Galaxy A06 5G comes with a 6.7-inch display and runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, paired with 4GB of RAM. This combination promises smooth performance for daily tasks like social media browsing, video streaming, and casual gaming.

The phone also packs a 5,000mAh battery, which Samsung claims will last all day, while its 25W Superfast Charging feature gets you back up and running quickly, reducing downtime.

With One UI 7, the Galaxy A06 5G offers improved privacy and security features, including Samsung’s Knox Vault to protect sensitive data. Samsung is also promising four years of Android OS and One UI updates, plus four years of security patches, ensuring users will get long-term support and better security.

The Galaxy A06 5G has an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, making it a durable option for everyday use. At 189 grams, it has a slim design that’s easy to carry around without feeling bulky.

Price and availability

The Galaxy A06 5G is priced at PHP 7,990 and comes in two colors: Black and Light Gray. It’s now available for purchase through authorized Samsung retail stores, authorized Samsung online stores (Shopee → and Lazada →), Samsung.com 25, and Samsung Experience Stores.

From March 21 to June 30, 2025, customers will get a free Travel Adapter with their purchase. Flexible payment options, including installment plans and 0% interest financing through Samsung Finance+, are also available.
