Aside from the Galaxy A56, a new info about the Galaxy A36 5G has emerged on FCC database hinting its imminent global launch.

According to the listing, the Galaxy A36 5G carries the model numbers SM-A366E/DS (dual SIM) and SM-A336U. The listing also confirms some other technical specs including a WiFi 6 support, and 25W wired charging.

Furthermore, recent image render leaks of the Galaxy A36 5G show a revamped design at the rear. The camera sensors are now housed in a single strip. The display’s bezels also look relatively thinner than before, but it still doesn’t get uniform borders.

Other rumors suggest that the Galaxy A36 will run on either the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 or the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 but do take this with a grain of salt since last year’s model, the Galaxy A35, was equipped with Exynos 1380 SoC.

For further comparison, its predecessor featured a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display, IP67 rating, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultrawide, and a 5-megapixel macro sensor.
