Is this accurate? This post seems to be the source of all the financing options rumors around the net. I hope it is though.

    • Vaughn Chua says:

This information is straight from Samsung PH itself.

    • Jasper says:

Thank man. I confirmed from Samsung’s email support as well. The staff in the Samsung Experience Store in SM North EDSA claimed not to know anything about the pre-order except the date.

  2. Drei says:

What are the freebies when you pre-order the Note8? Also, is the 0% installment available for pre-oders (so i can also get the free goodies)? Thanks.

    • Jasper says:

I asked Samsung’s email support about this. The told me they are still polishing the details. The store representatives at the Samsung Experience Store in SM North EDSA aren’t allowed to disclose details of the pre-order because of this. They told me to register online so i get the details when they become available or ask in-store once the pre-orders begin (Sept 8). On an earlier email though, I was told that 12 month will be available for all local credit cards and home credit. 24 month for BDO and CITI and 36 month for CITI only

    • Drei says:

Thanks Jasper! I also asked the staff from Samsung Experience Store in Glorietta and they told me that no instruction was given to them just yet.

On another note, is it confirmed that the freebie for the customers who will pre-order the Note8 will be the AKG bluetooth speaker? I’d rather have the 128GB and fast wireless charging pad instead. LOL

    • Jasper says:

I dropped by the Samsung Experience store again!… they have the Note8 on display now.. gosh it feels so good in my hands….. It does not feel too big at all compared to my 2 year old 6-inch phone. It’s actually smaller. They have fliers with all the details now. The preorder is tomorrow Sept 8. We need to pay a ?2000 during the pre-order period (Sept 8-17, cash or credit card only, no debit). Then the rest of the payment will be due starting Sept 29. To take advantage of the 0% interest deals though, you have to pay during the opening weekend Sept 29th to Oct 1st. The preorder bonus is that AKG speaker + 20% discount 1 accessory (clear view case, wireless charger, DeX) and 10% discount on 1 Wearable (gear fir2 Pro, or Gear S3 Frontier)…. I’m too hyped for this thing. hope it doesn’t disappoint.

    • Drei says:

THANKS for the info Bro! ? Just finished pre-ordering mine. I’ll get the midnight black. Can’t wait to get my hands on this device.

  3. Jan Naraja says:

I just came from samsung and i was told that the 36 months to pay from citibank was not true. It’s really sad if that’s the case I was really looking forward to buy the phone with those terms.

    • Drei says:

Just finished pre- ordering mine. The 36-mos. installment for the Note8 is legit. You can ask for a copy of their flyers from the official Samsung Experience Store. You need to pay P2,000 downpayment for the pre-order, which will also be deducted from the SRP. However, you should go to their store on Sep. 29 to Oct. 1, 2017 to avail this installment deal. I pre-ordered in Glorietta 2.

    • Jasper Ferrer says:

I pre-ordered mine as well. SM north does not have terminals for 36 month payment yet but they told me it was available in other branches.

  4. Yvain says:

Hi… regarding the citibank credit card.. lets say may credit limit is 30k and my available credit sa card ko is 4kphp na lang.. pwede ko pa rin ba sya ipaswipe sa kanila if I choose the 24 monthly installment (2,083php)? or kailangan ba atleast may laman ang card ko na 29k? First time CC user here.

    • Jasper says:

From my experience, the entire base amount will be deducted from your credit limit.

    • Drei says:

      Hi Yvain,

Based sa officemate ko (when she got her S8 sa Samsung store under the 0% installment din in SM Aura), and as confirmed by Samsung’s staff sa Glorietta 2, dapat yung available credit mo is kasya yung price or remaing amouny (if you decided to shell out), kasi dapat mabayaran si Samsung ng buo sa araw ng pag purchase mo, then yung 0% installment is between the buyer and the CC company. So if P50k yung price nung Note8, less P2k (if you pre-ordered), then yung available credit limit mo should be P48k. Also, if you have available cash (let’s say 10k), so P50k, less P2k(dp), less P10k = P38k, then P38k dapat available credit limit mo. Yung amount nung remaining nung SRP less the cash is yung amount na i-0% installment.

You may visit and confirm this with the local Samsung Experience store near you.

      Hope this clarifies..

Is it possible to use bpi credit card?

    • Drei says:

      Hi Lia,

Based dun sa fliers nila, they offer the 0% installment initially for Citibank and BDO credit card only on Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2017 (opening weekend nila for Note8).

Wala pang ibang announcement kung kailan nila.ulit i’offer yung promo na yun, and kung anong credit card and kasali dun.

    • Jasper says:

sabi sakin ng email support at dun sa store na pinuntahan ko (SM North) meron up to 12 months 0% interest sa home credit and all local credit cards. up to 24 months for BDO and 36 months for citybank. Current promo is only good from Sept 29-Oct 1 weekend. Not sure if you have to pre-order to qualify though. sabi sa flier “If customer claims pre=order during the Galaxy Note8 weekend…”

  6. Lia says:

Ho yumg galaxy s8 0% interest offer po is noon april 30 hanggang sept 30 ang valid
How many months po ba yong galaxy note 8 bago mag expired na yung 0% installment?

    • Drei says:

      Hi Lia,

Initially, based dun sa fliers nila sa Samsung Store, available yung 0% installment for BDO (24mos.) and Citibank (24 or 36mos.) credit cards if you will purchase the product on the opening weekend for the Note8 (which is Sept. 29 to Oct. 1).

Wala pang ibang announcement kung kailan nila ulit i’offer yung promo yun.

      Hope this helps
