Samsung Galaxy Note 9 ranks 2nd in DXO Mark Mobile Rankings

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 9 joins the ranks of the HTC U12+ and Huawei P20 Pro as the top smartphones for photography. The new Galaxy Note now takes the second spot alongside HTC’s flagship, just below the reigning Huawei P20 Pro.

Samsung’s latest flagship received an overall score of 103. On the Photo-side, the Note 9 received a 107 score thanks to its dual rear cameras’ “well-balanced mix for both stills and videos and delivers very good image quality across a wide range of lighting conditions”. The device also improved on autofocus consistency and tracking reliability.

On the video side, it got a score of 94 thanks to its bright and vivid colors, exposure accuracy, fine outdoor detail, and that autofocus consistency and tracking reliability.
