Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ silently go official

After releasing their FE line of devices with the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE 43, and Galaxy Tab S9+ FE. 41

Samsung has silently launched another budget-friendly tablet in the form of the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ in both Samsung Guatemala 11 and Amazon UAE.

The Galaxy Tab A9 features an 8.7-inch IPS LCD display with a 1340 x 800 resolution. While the Tab A9+ is said to feature an 11-inch display.

The Tab A9 also features a refresh rate up to 60Hz while the larger Tab A9+ will have up to 90Hz.

The Tab A9 will also feature MediaTek’s Helio G99 processor together with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. However, the Amazon listing hints that a model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage will also be available.

Other details based on its listing are that the Tab A9 will measure 211 x 125 x 8 mm and weigh just 333 grams. The Galaxy Tab A9+ on the other hand is said to be even slimmer at just 6.9mm

The Tab A9 will also include Dual 1W speakers while the Tab A9+ will see Quad 1.2W Speakers. Both will feature support for Dolby Atmos.

Other features known for both tablets were the inclusion of a microSD card slot for storage expansion, 5G support, split-screen capability, Secure Folder, Quick Share, and Auto Sync.

According to the Amazon listing, the Tab A9 and A9+ are available in Graphite, Silver, and Navy colorways.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 with LTE is priced at GTQ 1,499 (~PHP 10,888) on Samsung Guatemala 26 and AED 699 (~PHP 10,790) on Amazon UAE 21.

No word on pricing and availability for the Galaxy Tab A9+ has been made as of writing, neither pricing nor availability of both tablets for the Philippines.
