Samsung reportedly discontinues the Galaxy A7x line

Listen to article

Friendship ended with Samsung Galaxy A73.

The Samsung Galaxy A-series essentially has three tiers: starting with the budget A1x to A3x, lower midrange A5x, and the upper midrange A7x. While the A5x line proves to be the brand’s bestseller among the bunch, new report says that the A7x lineup might cease to exist next year.

According to a Dutch independent blog site GalaxyClub, we can expect the Galaxy A74 is not coming in 2023. The said site already covered details and leaks about the next A-series devices such as Galaxy A14, A24, A34, and A54 but there isn’t a single detail dedicated for the A74.

That’s allegedly due to Samsung not developing an A74 model anymore. “The device is not yet tested anywhere, there are no [firmware posted],” the site said (translated from Dutch).

Furthermore, the recent Galaxy A73 was released in fewer countries which already hinted its impending end.

This would mean the brand simplifies its Galaxy A-series with the A5x as the top option for its midrange offerings.

Talking about Samsung Galaxy A54, it is said to feature a faster chipset Exynos 1380 in a tad bit smaller screen at 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, and slightly larger battery capacity at 5,100mAh.

They will kill A7x series maybe because it’s killing their flagships 😅

what a retarted move for samsung. in the Ax3 series, only the the A73 made sense. the rest are downgraded trash compared to the previous series. i hope samsung would stop making the Exynos a thing. if you’re planning to get a phone in the next A series lineup, better skip it. maybe the next M series would do better.
