Listen to article

Samsung has launched the OneUI 7 beta program, starting with Galaxy S24 series devices. The beta is now accessible in Germany, India, Korea, Poland, the UK, and the U.S., as of December 5, 2024. Philippine users can expect access to the program in early 2025.

The beta introduces advanced AI features, such as summarization, grammar checking, and formatting assistance.

These features aim to enhance productivity by integrating powerful tools directly into the system.

The update includes a refreshed UI with a sleek design and reduced visual clutter.

Redesigned home screens, widgets, and lock screens allow better personalization.

The camera interface has also been improved, providing intuitive access to advanced controls.

A standout addition is the “Now Bar,” a lock screen feature that offers quick access to notifications and essential functions without unlocking the device.

Users can join the beta through the Samsung Members app, though Samsung cautions that the software may contain bugs.

The official release of OneUI 7 will coincide with the launch of new Galaxy S devices in Q1 2025.
