Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy F70e, a new entry-level smartphone that focuses on long battery life and basic everyday features. The phone comes with a 6,000mAh battery, a 50MP main camera, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset.

The Galaxy F70e features a 6.7-inch IPS LCD screen with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display reaches up to 800 nits of brightness and has an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, the phone carries a 50MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor.

Inside, the device runs on the Dimensity 6300 processor, paired with either 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. Storage can be expanded using a hybrid SIM slot. The phone also keeps features many budget users still want, such as a headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Galaxy F70e runs One UI 8.0 based on Android 16. Samsung says it will receive up to six years of Android updates and security patches, which is notable for a phone in this price range.

The Galaxy F70e is priced starting at INR 12,499 (around PHP 8,400) in India. While Samsung has not yet confirmed a Philippine release, the phone’s pricing and specs suggest it could appeal to Filipino users looking for an affordable phone with a large battery. Availability in the Philippines remains unannounced.
