The new iPhone 12 launch is still months away, but we now have a good idea of how it might look like based on renders posted online.
YouTube channel EverythingApplePro was able to produce a render of the alleged iPhone 12 Pro Max, as well as a 3D print-out, based on a CAD schematic obtained by Max Weinbach of XDA Developers.
The new iPhone design features flat sides, which is reminiscent of old iPhone designs as well as the new iPad Pros. It has a 6.7-inch screen, smaller notch, a larger camera module with Lidar sensor, thinner body, relocated buttons, and a smart connector (why, though?). There’s a Navy Blue color for the Pro models and several new colors for the non-Pro variants.
EverythingApplePro notes that the design is based on old CADs acquired in January 2020, so expect some differences in the final design.
