Top Smartphones Under Php20k (Mid-2017)

Over the last two days, we’ve shared our lists of the top smartphones of mid-2017 with price ranges of above Php30k and above Php20k. Today, we look at the mid-rangers. All of the phones mentioned in this list are no less than Php10k and no more than Php20k. Let’s get started.

Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017)

Early this year, Samsung launched their new A-series phones in the country, specifically the Galaxy A7 (2017) and the Galaxy A5 (2017). While not much as changed here in size and form factor, under the hood, the new A5 sports a faster octa-core CPU, more RAM, and an improved camera.

Vivo V5 Plus

Packed with 20MP and 8MP dual front cameras, this is truly a self-portrait centered smartphone. That is not to say that the great cameras are all it has going for it, as it has a beefy octa-core CPU, 4GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, and above average battery life.

Nokia 6

With Nokia finally launching a proper full-featured Android smartphone this year, it has proven to be worth the wait. The Nokia 6 was unveiled at the Mobile World Congress 2017, and has a beautiful design, respectable specs, and Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.

    Ang hirap na mamili ng midrange phone lalo na mura na ang LGV20, pasok na sa market ang Lenovo P2 (via Lzd), at mura na rin ang OnePlus 3T. Yung J7Pro pa… Sana maupdate itong list and then magkaroon ng conclusion kung alin ang best-buy sa mga phone na ito. I won’t say budget phones since price range na ang basehan (LGV20 and OnePlus 3T).

    Come on Yugatech! Don’t be lazy. You are a tech site. Use your latest gadgets and technology to gather these infos you feed to the public. Hell, a simple visit to your June archives can give you the official prices of the new Nokias in the Philippines!

      We cannot stress this enough: Our mid-year lists consist of devices already available in the Philippines from January 1 to June 30, 2017.

      As of June 30, the Nokia 6 (11,990) is on pre-order status. Official release date is Mid-July. With gray market selling the device first, we will write what is released on the scope provided.
