Alongside the compact flagship vivo S30 Pro mini 10, there’s also the regular vivo S30.

It boasts similar design and the same battery capacity, except it’s a bit bigger, uses a midrange chip, and carries a relatively lower price than its smaller sibling.

The vivo S30 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC.

Interestingly, despite its larger size and having the same 6500mAh battery, it goes slightly thinner at 7.49 mm (as compared to the S30 Pro mini’s 7.99 mm profile).

As for optics, it gets the same set of cameras as the Pro mini, on paper, the only difference being the variety of sensors used. For example, the Pro mini’s 50-megapixel main camera uses Sony IMX921 sensor whereas the regular S30’s 50-megapixel main uses Sony LYT-700V.

For added protection, the phone is rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance.
