Along with the new Mi Note 2, Xiaomi has also introduced its concept smartphone that boasts a 6.4-inch display with 91.3% screen-to-body ratio – the Mi MIX.

The Xiaomi Mi MIX was designed in partnership with French designer Philippe Starck. Unlike most smartphones today, the MIX features almost no bezel. It has a 6.4-inch screen with 17:9 aspect ratio which translates to a 91.3% screen-to-body ratio and a full ceramic body – back, frame and buttons.

Since it doesn’t have room on the front for components such as the earpiece and proximity sensors, the MIX instead uses a ceramic acoustic system, ultrasonic proximity sensor and compact front camera located at the bottom right corner.

When it comes to internals, it will pack a 2.35GHz Snapdragon 821 CPU, 4GB/6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 2.0 storage, 16MP PDAF rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4G+ LTE, NFC, HD 192KHz/24-bit audio, GPS with SAP tech, 4,400mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0, and 18K gold rims around the camera and fingerprint sensor.
The Xiaomi Mi Mix is priced at 3,499 (~Php24,959.04) for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model and 3,999 Yuan (~Php28,525.63) for the 6GB RAM + 256GB storage 18K gold variant.
