14″ and 16″ Redmi Book Pro 2024, Redmi Display G Pro Launched

Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has announced two new laptops and a monitor. The Redmi Book Pro 14 and 16 both is powered by Intel’s 12th gen Core Ultra CPUs featuring up to 6P-cores, 8E-cores and 18 threads on the Ultra 5, or 22 threads on the Ultra 7. 

Graphics are powered by the integrated Intel Arc GPU with 7 or 8 Xe-cores depending on the processor. The Arc GPU supports hardware ray tracing and NPUs to accelerate AI tasks. Both laptops employ dual-fan cooling across their metal chassis measuring 15.9mm thick and weighs only 1.46kg.

The 14-inch model sports a 2,880 x 1,800 IPS panel with a dynamic 120Hz refresh rate. It is rated for 400 nits brightness with DC dimming. Memory is up to 32GB LPDDR5x clocked at 7,467MT/s while storage reaches 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe. Battery capacity is a respectable 80Wh charging via a 100W Type-C adapter.

The 16-inch variant increases screen size to 3,072 x 1,920 and boosts refresh all the way up to 165Hz. It is brighter at 500 nits and features a larger 99Wh battery charged by 140W Type-C power. Both screens cover 100% sRGB color with Dolby Vision/Atmos support.

In terms of connectivity it includes Thunderbolt 4, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, USB 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.1, 3.5mm audio and Windows 11. HyperOS allows linking Xiaomi devices. Pricing starts from 5000 yuan (₱39k/$700/€650/₹57,500) for the 14-inch and 6000 yuan (₱47k/$835/€780/₹69,000) for the 16-inch model.

On ther hand, Xiaomi also unveiled the 27-inch Redmi Display G Pro monitor that utilizes a mini-LED panel with 1,152 zones, 1ms response and 180Hz refresh. It covers 98% DCI-P3, 100% sRGB and HDR1000 certification. Connectivity consists of DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0. Priced at 2000 yuan (₱ 15k+/$280/€260/₹23,500), it delivers high-spec gaming visuals.
