2019 Suzuki Ertiga officially launched

Suzuki has officially introduced the 2019 Ertiga in the Philippine shores.

Unveiled at the Indonesia International Motor show last April, the second generation MPV sports an FWD, DOHC 1.5L VVT engine under the hood that produces 103 HP at 6,000 rpm, and 138 Nm of torque at 4,400rpm across all variants, respectively.

Suzuki’s Director and Automobile Division General Manager, Keiichi Suzuki, said that he wanted to bring the convenience of a sedan to a vehicle that could carry the whole family in one vehicle. And so, this 7-seater MPV was born. Here’s what to expect from the all-new 2019 Suzuki Ertiga :

  • Projector Headlamps
  • Rear LED Taillights (GL-GLX Variants)
  • New 15” alloy wheels
  • Fog lamps (GL-GLX)
  • Smart Entry (Keyless Entry) (GL-GLX)
  • 2 Point Rear parking sensors
  • LED High Mount Stop Lamp
  • Electronically foldable Side mirrors (GL-GLX)

It comes in seven colors, namely Pearl Glorious Brown, Metallic Magma Gray, Pearl Burgundy Red, Prime Cool Black, Metallic Silky Silver, Pearl Radiant Red, and Pearl Snow White.

The 2019 Suzuki Ertiga will be available in the Philippines with these prices:

  • GA (5MT) – PHP 728,000
  • GL (5MT) – PHP 848,000
  • GL (4AT) – PHP 888,000
  • GLX (4AT) – PHP 978,000

What’s with these MPV variants that they limit the AT to just 4-speed?
