The 2022 Mitsubishi Xpander just debuted at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. It features an all-new facelift that updates the 4-year-old look of the original model.
The new Xpander features Mitsubishi’s new Dynamic Shield design. The front grille comes with a two-bar design finished in black. The lower section has a honeycomb mesh design, new T-shaped LED headlights, revised LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights. The top trim also received 17-inch alloy wheels in a two-tone finish.
The Xpander has a new continuously variable transmission or CVT, and is powered by a 1.5L in-line four-cylinder petrol engine that has an external exhaust gas recirculation system to aid fuel efficiency.
Inside the Xpander is a horizontal instrument panel with a 9-inch touchscreen. The new Xpander ditches the hand level parking brake in lieu of a new electric parking brake that frees up additional space in the center console.
The all-new Xpander comes in Blade Silver Metallic, Quartz Metallic Pearl, Graphite Gray Metallic, Jet Black Mica, Red Metallic and Deep Bronze Metallic. While the higher-end Xpander Cross comes with additional colors such as Sunrise Orange.
There is no specific pricing as of now for the all-new Mitsubishi Xpander, so stay tuned!
