Microsoft has just announced a new locked-down version of Windows dubbed as the Windows 10 S yesterday. Stepping into the game are Acer and HP to out devices running the said OS.

Acer introduces a new version of its TravelMate Spin B1 with an 11.6-inch 1080p display, Intel Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of storage. It also comes with a stylus and has a 360-degree hinge.

HP, on the other hand, has the ProBook x360 11 Education Editon. It’s a rugged notebook with an 11.6-inch 360-degree display, powered by an Intel Celeron processor, 4GB RAM, and 64GB of storage.
Both are cheaper versions of existing notebooks. They are priced at just USD299 or about Php15k before taxes and other fees.

Other manufacturers also have Windows 10 S laptops in their line up including ASUS, Dell, Samsung, and Toshiba.
