Anker soundcore Liberty 5 now available in PH, priced

A month after its silent unveiling, Anker’s soundcore Liberty 5 has officially arrived in the Philippines.

It goes for PHP 5,995 (SRP), and during the 6.6 sale, it will go down to PHP 5,395 and will come bundled with a free tumbler for the first 100 customers.

To recap, the soundcore Liberty 5 features an in-ear design and is rated IP55 for dust and water resistance. Each bud packs 9.2 mm sound drivers and built-in bass tubes aimed at improving audio clarity and depth. Each earbud weighs around 4.6 grams.

It also comes equipped with a total of six microphones supported by AI noise reduction and a wind-resistant algorithm. Soundcore has also introduced an upgraded Real-Time Adaptive ANC 3.0, which adjusts noise cancellation settings every 0.3 seconds.

For connectivity, the Liberty 5 uses Bluetooth 5.4 and supports the LDAC codec, earning it Hi-Res Audio certification. Other features include Google Fast Pair and Dual Connection, which lets the earbuds connect to two devices at once.

Touch controls on the stem allow users to manage music, calls, and even take photos using the phone’s camera app.

Battery life is rated at up to 12 hours per earbud with ANC disabled, and a total of up to 48 hours with the charging case. With ANC enabled, users can expect around 32 hours in total.
