AnTuTu Releases Top 10 Midrange Phones for April 2020

Following up on their top 10 flagships, AnTuTu has released the top 10 best performing midrange devices.

Like other AnTuTu top 10s, their results are based on the average of more than 1,000 devices per model, collected between April 1 to April 30. All data are based on AnTuTu Benchmark V8.

The HUAWEI Nova 7i (Kirin 810) took the number 1 spot, finally dethroning the Redmi Note 8 Pro scoring 308,853 points. The top 2 and 3 spots were taken by MediaTek Helio G90T-based devices, the Redmi Note 8 Pro and Realme 6, scoring 291,742 and 291,093 points, respectively. The top four and five spots, on the other hand, were taken by Snapdragon 720G-based devices, the Realme 6 Pro and Redmi Note 9S, which scored 282,519 and 277,954 points, respectively.

The bottom five spots are dominated by Snapdragon 730G-based devices, lead by the Realme X2 (6GB+64B) and the Mi 9T (6GB+128GB). Interestingly, the older Samsung A80 (8GB+128GB) managed to outscore this year’s A71 (6GB+128GB), scoring 264,952 and 264,860 points, respectively. Taking the last spot is the world’s first smartphone with a 108MP primary camera, the Mi Note 10 (6GB+128GB), scoring 263,965 points.
