Sony’s Latest WH-1000XM6 Headphones Bring Top-Notch Noise Canceling to PH

Listen to article

Sony has just launched its new WH-1000XM6 noise-canceling headphones in the Philippines, promising a cleaner listening experience whether you’re on the commute or chilling at home. These over-ear cans pack the HD Noise Canceling Processor QN3, which runs seven times faster than before and uses 12 microphones to block out more background sounds, perfect for noisy jeeps or crowded cafés.

The WH-1000XM6 also learns from your surroundings. Its Adaptive NC Optimizer adjusts noise canceling as you move between city streets and crowded offices, while Auto Ambient Sound lets in just the right amount of outside noise so you don’t miss an important announcement. You can tweak all settings easy in the Sony Sound Connect app.

Beyond silence, Sony teamed up with Grammy-winning engineers to fine-tune the sound. A new carbon-fiber driver and special voice coil deliver clearer highs and deeper bass. Thanks to LDAC and DSEE Extreme with Edge-AI, even your compressed tracks sound rich and detailed.

If you make calls on the go, the built-in six-mic AI beamforming system focuses on your voice, even in a windy park or busy street. Music, mute, and noise-control buttons are right on the cups, and the soft-fit headband with vegan leather earpads keeps you comfy for hours.

Smart extras include Scene-based Listening that changes settings based on what you’re doing, multi-point pairing for two devices at once, and a three-minute quick charge that gives three hours of playback. Sony even uses 100% paper packaging made from bamboo and recycled fibers.

Available in Black, Platinum Silver, and Midnight Blue, the WH-1000XM6 retails for PHP 27,999 at all authorized Sony stores. Ready for cleaner sound?

I bought a Sony WH-1000×M3 about 3+years ago and I still have it and it is working fine and I really love it. Abou a week ago, I upgraded my headset to WH-1000xM6 and l have no regrets shelling out quite a big sum of money. It’s perfect. The quality of its performance is second to none. I am very satisfied I made that decision.

@Abe: Zero sales tax in Oregon, along with a few other states.

It’s amazing how a price tag of P25,350 ($450) in the U.S. translates to P28,000 here in the Philippines. Ang sarap talaga bumili ng electronics sa bansa natin!

The price tag in the US does not include sales tax yet.
