Apple Watch Series 11 debuts: 5G support, hypertension detection

Listen to article

The Apple Watch Series 11 has debuted with the introduction of 5G for its cellular version. It joins the handful of products revealed by the company for this year’s September keynote.

Design-wise, there are subtle changes, with Apple claiming it now as the thinnest and lightest iteration yet. It sports a new glass cover that’s twice as scratch-resistant in comparison to the Watch Series 10 line.

For connectivity, as mentioned, the line now supports 5G even without an iPhone. It ships with watchOS 26, bringing new watch faces, live translation, and improvements to health tracking.

One of its highlights is the addition of hypertension or high blood pressure detection. It uses updated sensors, slated to roll out to over 150 countries this month.

In addition, sleep tracking improvements have been made with the addition of the Sleep Score metric. Battery life has also been upgraded, with the watch lasting up to 24 hours on a single charge.

The Apple Watch Series 11 comes in aluminum and titanium models with two sizes each. The 42mm aluminum starts at PHP 26,490 while the 46mm variant is priced at PHP 28,490.

For the titanium option, the 42mm starts at PHP 46,990 and the 46mm is priced at PHP 49,990. Availability in the Philippines has yet to be announced.
