DJI just rolled out a cool new update for the DJI Neo 2, letting users control the drone directly from an Apple Watch. The feature works on the Apple Watch Series 8 and newer, plus the Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Ultra 3. To enable it, users only need the latest Neo 2 firmware (v01.00.0500) and the newest DJI Fly app (v1.19.4).

With this update, you can launch, track, and control the drone right from your wrist, perfect for activities like cycling or running where pulling out your phone isn’t convenient. There’s even a live camera feed on the watch, although Apple’s power-saving rules still apply. Users can also issue voice commands and use the watch as a mic for quick audio capture.
