Asus has denied the rumor surrounding its Zenfone line shutting down.

In an official statement released on Tuesday, August 29, Asus pointed out that they will continue both of its two product lines: ROG Phone and Zenfone.

We would like to address the rumor that ASUS Zenfone 10 will be the last generation of the series and the ASUS Zenfone product line will be shut down. This is not true. We will continue our two main phone business product lines, the ROG Phone and the Zenfone. ASUS has a strong commitment to our smartphone business and customers. Please reference our Q2 earnings call for more information. Please stay tuned for our 2024 product lineups.

Earlier this week, a report emerged claiming that the company underwent an internal reorganization in which the Zenfone 10 will be the last model in the series.

Asus’ response provides enough reassurance to put the rumors surrounding the Zenfone to rest.

The Zenfone line has been a popular choice for consumers due to its compact form factor, and news of its potential discontinuation had caused concern among fans.

With this official response from Asus, customers can continue to look forward to new releases from the Zenfone line in the future. And that’s as early as 2024.

However, Asus has not disclosed whether the layoffs or the internal reorganization are true.
