ASUS just launched a new smartphone in India and it’s being branded as the rival of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 series. Meet the Zenfone Max Pro (M1), the newest member of the Zenfone Max series that sports Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor.

Other specs include a 5.99-inch FHD+ display, three possible RAM configurations (3, 4, and 6), 32 or 64GB of internal storage, Android 8.1 Oreo, and a 5,000mAh battery. For cameras. the two lowest RAM configurations feature a dual camera setup consisting of a 13MP main f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, 5 element and a 5MP secondary. The highest RAM configuration, on the other hand, features a higher dual camera pair consisting of a 16MP primary and a 5MP secondary while it’s front also boast a higher 16MP lens.

The ZenFone Max Pro (M1) is priced at Rs10,999 (~Php8,665.34) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant, Rs12,999 (~Php10,241.00) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant, and Rs14,999 (~Php11,816.66). All phones will be exclusively available via India’s Flipkart on May 3.
